Disclaimer:
- Due to NDA restrictions, I am unable to disclose all visual details about my projects.
- All designs presented were either designed by myself or in collaboration with designers under my direction.
Unfortunately, due to privacy reasons, I can't show the bulk of my work for the redesign of the first FDA approved virtual vision test set up flow, so for now you'll have to trust that I actually did quite a lot during the ~2 months I was a part of this initiative. I was the sole product designer primarily focused on the user experience of the set up sequence for the test and the visual design overhaul. Here are some brief notes about the work I did during this time 🫰
- Led the redesign of the first FDA-approved virtual vision test as the sole product designer, focusing on a comprehensive visual design overhaul that modernized the interface and aligned it with user needs.
- Streamlined the setup process to significantly reduce setup time and the number of screens, creating a more intuitive experience for mobile device users.
- Ensured accessibility by designing for users of all ages and device types.
- Conducted two in-person user testing events with over 60 participants to validate designs, gather insights through user interviews, and identify areas for improvement before launch.
- Contributed to design quality assurance, ensuring all interactions functioned seamlessly as intended.
